On Thursday, 4th March 2021, in the headquarters of Confindustria Alto Adriatico, Labiotest, Elle Partecipazioni and Gesteco (three companies of the Gruppo Luci) have been selected as winners for having performed actions foreseen by program WHP, also throughout 2020.
Health promotion in work places (Workplace Health Promotion or WHP) foresees that a company should take all the necessary measures to prevent accidents and industrial diseases, but also bind itself to offer opportunities to workers for them to improve their health conditions, for instance by stimulating physical activities.
The three winners have been paying attention to these aspects for a long time. In fact, a distributor of healthy products was set up and some groups have started practicing walking during lunch break.
Besides, a safety week has been instated, called "Gruppo Luci Safety Week", in which five days are dedicated to various activities regarding movement, immune defense, emotions and aspects related to a proper nutrition, all events requiring the direct participation of experts in every field.
