Labiotest acquires a stake in B Zero System and strengthens its expertise in indoor air quality

A strategic integration that combines industrial expertise and technological innovation to address the challenges of environmental sanitization in high-criticality settings

We are pleased to announce our acquisition of a stake in the innovative Veneto-based startup  B Zero System, specialized in continuous 24/7 surface sanitization technologies for indoor environments.

With this strategic move, we broaden our scope of action in the field of environmental safety by integrating solutions validated by accredited laboratories and proven effective against viruses and bacteria, including SARS-CoV-2.

Our technological solutions, already successfully applied in industrial settings, are also present internationally through established partnerships with foreign buyers in the most strategic production sectors.

The synergy between the two companies stems from a shared vision: improving environmental health through integrated, flexible, and technologically advanced solutions, designed to meet the needs of high-density and high-vulnerability settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and workplaces.

“The investment in B Zero System represents a step aligned with Labiotest’s vision of responsible innovation. We have always believed in an integrated approach to environmental quality, and with this partnership, we aim to strengthen our expertise in operating within the most critical indoor environments, such as healthcare facilities. This is a strategic choice that brings together capabilities, technology, and long-term vision to offer even more effective and safe solutions for people's health,” says Adriano Luci, Sole Director of Labiotest Srl.

Founded in Friuli and part of the Gruppo Luci, we have built strong expertise in the treatment of odorous emissions, dust, and chemical pollutants, with tailor-made systems designed for industrial settings and high-risk environments in both Italy and abroad. In recent years, we have also been expanding our competencies in indoor air quality.

“We are pleased that the Gruppo Luci has believed in this project. The combination of our expertise and ongoing research activities will enable us to effectively address the most complex scenarios, particularly in vulnerable settings such as intensive care units and operating rooms. Our goal is to make a concrete contribution to infection prevention from contamination, by offering healthier and safer environments,” says Mauro Franzin, Legal Representative of B Zero System.

B Zero System, founded in Veneto in 2022 and based in Torre di Mosto, is an innovative company that develops fully automated 24/7 sanitization systems. Its core technology is B Zero Sanity, a system capable of creating an invisible active film on surfaces, ensuring continuous antibacterial and antiviral protection without damaging objects, documents, or electronic equipment.

The shared goal is to build a complete and scalable technological ecosystem, combining our expertise in air quality with B Zero System’s smart know-how in environmental sanitization. This integration is forward-looking - where health, sustainability, and environmental control are essential elements for people’s well-being.
